01Still Serves Champions

Pick a lane. Get the hat.

Champions are the people who keep the phone answered and the truck full of gas. Both tiers get a Still Serves cap in the style you choose. One ships now; one ships when you've stuck around.

Monthly ChampionCancel anytime

Hat ships after your third month.

  • $9.99 a month — about a tank of gas for a ride to the Fayetteville VA.
  • Your cap ships with your 3rd payment. Stick with us ninety days, it's yours.
  • Monthly after-action report: who we helped, what it cost, what's next.
  • Name on the Champions roll in the printed field manual (opt-in).

$99/yr · cap retail value $20 · approx. $79 deductible once 501(c)(3) is approved. See receipts below.

Status

Still Serves has applied for 501(c)(3) status. Until the IRS determination letter arrives, contributions are not yet tax-deductible. If approved, deductibility is retroactive to our incorporation date and we'll send a corrected receipt. We will never tell you a gift is deductible before it is.

02The caps

Three cuts. One guidon.

Richardson blanks, embroidered in Arkansas. Signal orange thread on every one. Buy outright, or pick one as your Champion cap.

Still Serves trucker cap — black with signal orange guidon
The 112$35
Richardson 112 trucker · black/black · snapback
Embroidered guidon, signal orange

The trucker everybody asks for. Structured twill front, mesh back, pre-curved bill. The one that ends up on the dash of the truck.

The 511$35
Richardson 511 flat bill · wool blend · black
Signal orange underbill · side stitch bar

Sport cut. Flat bill, structured crown, orange under the visor like a panel marker on a rooftop. For the younger vets and the ones who still play ball.

The Field$35
Richardson 320 washed chino · unstructured · khaki
Low profile · brass-buckle strap

The one you wear to the VA. Soft, low, broken in before you get it. Khaki like the paper this guide is printed on.

03The gear

Carry the address.

Both of these put stillserves.org in front of someone who might need it. That's the point. Leave the pen at the VA front desk. Hand the tote to the guy carrying his life in a grocery sack.

stillserves.org STILL SERVES
The Pen$45
Fisher Space Pen · Bullet · matte black · clip
Laser engraved: guidon + stillserves.org

The pen that writes upside down, underwater, and on the paperwork at the VSO's office. Made in Boulder City, Nevada since 1948 and carried on every Apollo mission. Engraved with the address, so it's never just a pen.

STILLSERVES.ORG STILL SERVES · NORTHWEST ARKANSAS · VETERAN-RUN
The Tote$48
15 oz natural cotton canvas · black web handles
2-color screen print · cut, printed & sewn in New Hampshire

Heavy canvas that holds fifty pounds. The guidon and the address, printed big enough to read across a parking lot. Buy one for yourself; we put one in the hands of every veteran we house.

04Where it goes

No salaries. No office.
Here's the ledger.

What your money buysTypical

Gas for a ride to the Fayetteville VASpringdale → College Ave → back, with a wait$12
Replacement state IDArkansas Revenue Office fee for a vet with no cash$10–20
Printed FM 479-1 for a shelterPer copy, at quantity$4
Phone line + voicemail that gets answeredPer month$15
Bridge deposit when SSVF is two weeks outRare. Approved by two advocates.$200–500
Cold-weather kitWool socks, hand warmers, hygiene, tote$28
How your receipt works

When you get a hat, pen, or tote with your gift, the IRS says only the part above the item's fair market value is deductible. We put that number on every receipt: "$99 received · $20 cap value · $79 deductible." No guessing.

Fair market values we use: cap $20 · pen $39 · tote $25.

Caution

Still Serves does not file VA claims and never charges a veteran for anything. If someone asks you for money to "help with your claim," they are not us. Accredited claims help is free by law — see Step 4.

Monthly after-action reports go to every Champion. Totals raised and spent are posted here quarterly once we have a quarter to post.

05Sourcing

Who makes it.

We'd rather tell you than have you wonder. Nothing here is drop-shipped from a mystery warehouse.
